Every genuine new keeper receives 10 welcome Koi Companion AI credits once. They never expire, but they are not repeated by reinstalling, restoring purchases or switching device. A routine question uses 1 credit; a deep photo, microscope or record analysis uses 5. Once they are spent, AI needs an Intermediate plan (100 credits a month), a Premium plan (200 credits a month) or an optional credit pack — the rest of Koi Companion stays free.

Photo, microscope and video analysis require an Intermediate or Premium plan, or optional AI credits. AI gives general decision support and does not replace an aquatic vet or experienced koi-health professional.
